{"id":8351,"date":"2017-05-05T15:08:31","date_gmt":"2017-05-05T22:08:31","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/alannarisse.com\/blog\/?page_id=8351"},"modified":"2017-05-05T15:11:24","modified_gmt":"2017-05-05T22:11:24","slug":"a-bigger-boat","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.alannarisse.com\/blog\/a-bigger-boat\/","title":{"rendered":"A Bigger Boat"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A Bigger Boat was an installation done at Rainmaker Residency in NW Portland for the month of January 2017. \u00a0The piece was a Jaws inspired animated gif photo booth.<\/p>\n<p>I created a cardboard shark and the back of a boat with bench as well as a camera box with Raspberry Pi Microcontroller, screen, push button, and LEDs for user feedback. Props were created out of cardboard and included a bowie knife and a bucket of chum. The images were uploaded to Tumblr. You can see the <a href=\"http:\/\/abiggerboat.tumblr.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">collection of them here<\/a>.
