I used to be addicted to water as a child and I suppose that adiction never really went away, I just stopped accomodating it. I was in the water so much as a child that I was given the nickname “Frog” for behaving more like an amphibian than a mammal. My passion for water has been rekindled recently and I can’t stay away from the pool. I’ve been doing laps at the Koret center by my house three times a week for the past two weeks. I’ve been swimming until I barely have the strength to pull myself out off the water.

It feels so good to just swim. Here’s hoping that I can keep some sort of swim schedule for the next year. I’m sure the three days a week I’ve been doing lately won’t last once fall semester starts, but I sure hope I can get some swimming in. Between the swimming and the juicing, I’m going to be the healthiest girl on the planet. Seems sort of apropos that I’m painting sea creatures right now.

I have become a swimmer again.
