I sure hope this passes with graduation. I think much of it has to do with school. It just seems to be mising something for me. I do feel tremendous pleasure in making paintings out of non-traditional materials like felt and wax, but the thrill is gone right now with me and oils. It feels more like an unpleasant chore right now. I&#8217;m taking a 6 week painting intensive class this summer. I&#8217;m hoping it&#8217;ll rekindle my love of oil paints. Who knows, maybe it&#8217;ll just solidify my feelings for other materials. Here&#8217;s hoping I get to make some fun stuff in that class.
