Staying at someone else’s house gives you something to compare your own to. I seemed to have thought we lived a simple life but I find after staying at my friend’s house for a couple days that I am not so simple.<\/p>\n
1. While washing carrots, wondered, “hey! where’s the vegetable brush?”
\n2. Turned on the tv and wondered “why does the sound only come out of those two tiny speakers on the front of the tv?”
\n3. Where’s the ottoman? I’m just not comfortable enough.
\n4. What? you call that a bathtub?
\n5. Wait a minute, where’s the salad spinner?
\n6. Giant tea ball for making iced tea in large quantities from loose leaf tea… nope, not here.
\ndespite my sufferings, I’m getting over it. This building has a gym that has tvs with dvd players at every nautilus machine. With cable! I watched Animal Planet while going for an invigorating walk. Magic. And the pool is perfect.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
