I started at oakland aquatic park, down tio jack<\/p>\n<p>london square, then ro chinatown to poke around the open market, a few<\/p>\n<p>loops around chinatown, then to the oakland museum. What a great place.<\/p>\n<p>$5 with a student I&#8217;d gets you into the three main galleries (art,<\/p>\n<p>history, natural science) as well as two special exhibits. Lots of sea<\/p>\n<p>life in the natural history section and lots of bay area artists in the<\/p>\n<p>art section. They have two frank lobdells, one of my favorites and a<\/p>\n<p>piece or two from current bay area art teachers, including one or two<\/p>\n<p>from cca. The people are more than helpful, I had a lady following me<\/p>\n<p>for a while, telling me all about this or that exhibit.
