Adding in a trip to the bookstore, it was 10 miles total. I&#8217;m out of shape! The muscles that run along the sides of my back are so sore. For yesterday and today I&#8217;ve been doing shorter walks, waiting for my muscles to recover. Within the next few weeks I need to build up some strength and stamina. In the end of July, I&#8217;ll be walking 75 miles. Friends have been supportive and surprisingly unsurprised at hearing my plans. I guess they know me pretty good by now. Gives me a feeling that I&#8217;ve chosen my friends wisely.<\/p>\n<p>Me thinks a desire to wander is in my blood. My feet have seen many miles. This adventure will be a larger, more formal undertaking and I document it as best I can. All the experiences I have on my walks rarely get recorded with any detail.
