And I was feeling like an insect pupa waiting for something to happen. Like magically 25 pounds would fall off my body. I got tired of living in limbo and I went and got myself a haircut and a color. Amazing what a little pampering can do to your ego. I feel better already. I&#8217;d been trying to keep my hair sort of blond, sort of not dyed, trying to get accustomed to gray hair. The blond wasn&#8217;t really staying in my hair. So yeah, whatever, I just got really sick of it. And even though I suppose this is less the real me that the graying me was, I feel more like me. Me in a bottle. We spent the day on Randy&#8217;s boat, the Tortuga.
