I<\/p>\n<p>lost my wallet somewhere between san bruno and the hotel. The drama of<\/p>\n<p>not being able to get a hotel room nearly sent me over the edge. Tom<\/p>\n<p>drove down to meet me, even stopped by where I thought I lost it, and we<\/p>\n<p>are having burgers at nicks in san mateo. I&#8217;m soaking and trying to<\/p>\n<p>remain calm. It&#8217;s clear to me that I won&#8217;t be able to do 20 miles<\/p>\n<p>tomorrow. But I&#8217;m just going to keep at it til I can&#8217;t anymore. I&#8217;m<\/p>\n<p>hoping I can make it to downtown san jose but I may have to skip the 18<\/p>\n<p>mile journey from san jose to morgan hill. My spirits are back up to<\/p>\n<p>acceptable levels and I&#8217;m happy Tom&#8217;s here with me.
