{"id":1435,"date":"2008-07-30T11:33:10","date_gmt":"2008-07-30T18:33:10","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/angrypirate.com\/wordpress\/?p=1435"},"modified":"2013-04-29T20:08:39","modified_gmt":"2013-04-30T03:08:39","slug":"guac-whack-a-mole","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.alannarisse.com\/blog\/guac-whack-a-mole\/","title":{"rendered":"guac whack a mole"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>It&#8217;s summertime so go make yourself some guac.<\/p>\n<p>Ingredients:<br \/>\n2 very ripe avocados (save one pit)<br \/>\n2 limes, juiced<br \/>\nHandful of cilantro, diced<br \/>\nHalf an onion, diced<br \/>\n1 fresh, ripe tomato, diced<br \/>\nSalt and pepper<\/p>\n<p>Slice avocados in half lengthwise by rotating your knife around the pit. Remove pits from avocados and make a series of slices lengthwise down the flesh of the avocado. Scoop out the guts and place them into a medium-sized bowl. Add lime juice, onion, salt, pepper, and salsa. Mash together with a fork. Stir in the cilantro. Serve with crispy chips and a margarita.<\/p>\n<p>To store your guac for future use, put one of the pits back into the bowl and refrigerate, covered in plastic wrap. That&#8217;ll keep it fresh and green for a couple days.
