It was floating on it&#8217;s back,<br \/>\ntrying desperately to right itself. I considered flushing it. I figured,<br \/>\nthat ladybug is a goner and I&#8217;m not going to risk walking through work<br \/>\nwith a soggy piece of toilet paper with a bug attached to it just to set<br \/>\nit free.<\/p>\n<p>But I couldn&#8217;t push the button. I just couldn&#8217;t be responsible for<br \/>\nending its life when I could give it another chance. So, I wadded up a<br \/>\npiece of seat cover, fished the ladybug out, and walked it through the<br \/>\nbuilding to the outside world where it belongs. I let it clambor onto a<br \/>\nbranch and here it now sits, cozied up in the nook of this branch. Go<br \/>\neat some aphids, little one.
