It looks like the bill (AB771) was passed this October, 2008 and there is nothing in the bill about banning honey bees from California&#8217;s mandarin orange groves. I&#8217;m assuming at this point that because a resolution could not be made, nothing about bees made it into the bill. I&#8217;m asking more questions from the person who forwarded me the original email so I&#8217;ll update you if I hear anything back. The statute that was created applies to Tulare, Madera, Fresno and Kern counties.
