\nI’m getting a little carried away maybe. I started gessoing my “scrap” canvas and discovered I had enough for 4 decent sized canvases, plus three around 18″ x 24″ and two smaller ones. I have visions of oil paint and embroidery floss. This stack, when rolled up around a wrapping paper tube, is quite bulky. I think I might be crazy. I am also having dillusions about making a large bag with handles to put them all in. I am trying to do too much. I know this, and yet I cannot stop. The idea of working my ass off for two weeks and coming away with so many canvases is so appealing. but what if I get there and all I want to do is work on paper? What do I do? Do I carry all this stuff around with me? Am I crazy enough to make a big bag to fit them all in? I just might be. I wish somebody would stop me and tell me to take a nap. Next week i will have all the time in the world for napping. Now, I must work!<\/p>\n

Today I need to send off my resume and slides to New American Paintings<\/a>. I also need to stop by a store on Castro and Market that just opened. It would be great if someone would hang my little encaustics in their store while I’m gone. A couple hundred bucks is going to be a lot of money by the time I get back.<\/p>\n

I need to do some shipping this week but I’m kinda waiting on a check so I can do them all at once. Both my finals are Thursday. When will I do laundry? This week is going to fly by. ok, focus focus focus.<\/p>\n

God, I just talked myself into walking down to Mendell’s and buying fabric for a large bag. What a crazy person I am.<\/p>\n
