After some talk and deliberation, it<br \/>\nwas decided that I should swap out the three canvases I was working on<br \/>\nasap and star a-fresh. I got one started and sketched out a second in<br \/>\ncharcoal. Three of us drove to carcassone for art supplies, special<br \/>\nsnacks for later, and an afternoon beer. Then much more painting, goat<br \/>\ncheese with honey and hazelnuts with local muscat wine, then slides<br \/>\n(which included a couple thomas kinkades, yeah! Painter of light!) some<br \/>\nof jan harrison and damn, I forgot the other. Then more painting, too<br \/>\nmuch wine, a weird creme brulee cigarillo (mini cigar, can&#8217;t remember<br \/>\nwhat they are really called, I now call them disgusting) then some karl<br \/>\nzero on my ipod and some ice cream before bedtime.<\/p>\n<p>We are hanging our show tomorrow which will be covered by two local<br \/>\npapers. I got my copy of the flier and I&#8217;m very excited. The room is<br \/>\nbeautiful. We are showing in the abbey which is the one special place<br \/>\nthat makes caunes-minervois famous.
