I am enjoying a sandwich under a<br \/>\ntree on the banks of a nice pond full of swans. It&#8217;s so nice here. I<br \/>\nneeded a day away from the city after yesterday&#8217;s long walk through the<br \/>\ncenter. I wish I could rent a row boat but I still have blisters on my<br \/>\nhands from my allergic reaction. Was that a week ago? I am missing tom<br \/>\nand am getting excited about coming home next week. I will be home in 7<br \/>\ndays!<\/p>\n<p>I had an embarrassing encounter with an english clerk at a metro<br \/>\nstation. He laughed uncontrollably at my attempts at pronouncing things.<br \/>\nI guess it had to happen atleast once. Glad he was english and not<br \/>\nfrench.
