Turns out he would mow their lawn in exchange for a 6 pack of beer. Explains why the one who resnt us the place wasn&#8217;t sure if there was a mower in the garage. Yesterday I tackled the lawn, today it was the leaves in all the basement window sills. So many leaves. Keith says there are about 3 year&#8217;s worth, sounds about right.<\/p>\n<p>Today&#8217;s apple is a Braeburn from the QFC down the road. The apples I&#8217;ve had in Portland are generally tastier on average than the ones I was getting in SF. Just closer to the source I guess. Can&#8217;t wait to see what New Leaf has for me.<\/p>\n<p>Tom&#8217;s got the car today but I may be done with work for the day so I&#8217;m going to try to get to the nursery on my bike and get some fava beans, gloves, and maybe a soil tester.
