Lucky for me, no one cares
about Delacroix, Ingres, Regnault, or Gerome. How could you not love all
the gore, mystique, tigers and exotic boobies!?! I am getting my fill of
all the art that’s out of fashion, and I’m loving it.

There were too many dead people in that cemetary, I had to get out. I
found Apollinaire’s grave (that was realy cool) and Chopin and
Delacroix. But there were so many graves it was impossible to find
anyone unless there were hords of tourists and barracades around them
like in poor jim morrison’s case.

I’m pretty done with this paris thing. I think I’m going to go back to
my vietnamese restaurant tonight. I keep making bad food choices today
and I’d like to end on a good note. I made the mistake of thinking I
needed to branch out and try other bakeries even though the one by me is
fantastic and they are nice to me. Mistake! I had a terrible croissant
and an even worse cafe creme. Then I had a bad lunch mistake too. No
more mistakes. I suppose I could do the first french place where I had
the yummy salad. We will see.

I did wander around after the cemetary and found a cool part of town.
It’s a heavily medditeranean and middle eastern influenced area. I tried
to get a shwarma but the poor guy was waiting on a bread delivery. There
was a huge open market. Then I got kinda freaked because suddenly every
cafe I looked ino had no women in it, so I gave up and headed towards
the musee d’orsay. Some neighborhoods have very manly bars that don’t
look like a nice place for a single girl to have a quiet lunch. I gave
up on a cafe lunch, they are too expensive around here. I found a
sandwich deal. It was awful. I miss my chicken salad sandwich from the
other day. Boy, what a whiner today!

So yeah, I’m done and I want to come home. Or atleast, I want to go back
to azure and jason’s house, and then I want to go home. Paris is ok but
I much preferred the activities of country living. Like creeks and bugs
and birds and cats and walks and flowers and butterflies. Those things
make me so happy. Art and crowds confuse me. I’m really confused about
school. Especially after spending so much money. But we will just have
to see. I will still go full time this semester. And then money will
fall from the sky and I won’t have to worry about it.

Yikes Originally uploaded by angrypirate.
