This completes week nine. My route went something like this: Masonic > Presidio > Fort Mason > Crissy Field > Lincoln Blvd > Lands End > Cliff House > Ocean Beach > Golden Gate Park. It went pretty well. by mile ten I felt like I could run forever. But in mile 12 I got a knee pain and had to walk the last two or so miles back. I better watch it this week.<\/p>\n
Letter to Apple Computer…
\nDear Apple Computer, Thank you very much for making iPods. They really make my life better. I have one pretty serious complaint that I hope you will fix for me. Last night I plugged my iPod into my computer and reminded myself to unplug it when I turned my computer off for the night. I was especially concerned because running 14 miles without an iPod is a lot harder than running 14 miles with one. You know what? I forgot? Like I have on so any other occassions. And do you know what that means? The battery drained itself dry because it was still plugged in. I bet you already knew that, since it’s been a problem for you for some yearsnow, and you probably get thousands of complaints every week from people just like me. I don’t pretend to understand why it’s such a difficult task, being able to recognizer that there is no longer power coming through the cable, but geez, there’s got to be something you can do. Please fix this one bug for me, for old times sake. Will you please fix this? It makes me very sad and angry. Thank you.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
I just finished my 14 miler in my 20 week marathon training program. This completes week nine.
