It all started out when I found a link to <a href=\"http:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/bahkubean\/27372067\/\" target=\"_blank\">this site<\/a> on <a href=\"http:\/\/www.loobylu.com\" target=\"_blank\">Loobylu<\/a>. Yes, I was procrastinating. I was totally blown away and my curiosity peaked, I needed to find out more. I ended up on <a href=\"http:\/\/www.mandyjouan.com\/\" target=_blank>her site<\/a> and discovered that along with giant sock monkeys, she also seems to enjoy pirates, bunnies, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.mandyjouan.com\/assets\/PPP\/painthotdogs.gif\" target=_blank>octopus and weiner dogs<\/a>, penguins, funny sketches, and indie music. Among her favorite movies are Pirates of the Carribbean and Amalie. She even likes David Sedaris. She&#8217;s a designer, illustrator, and painter.<\/p>\n<p>Two things that gave it away were <a href=\"http:\/\/www.mandyjouan.com\/assets\/PPP\/peter1.gif\" target=_blank>this pirate painting<\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.mandyjouan.com\/assets\/digital_art\/penguinfly%20copy.gif\" target=_blank>this penguin drawing<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Ohhhhh, I almost forgot a biggie. She likes socks. Socks of all kinds of patterns and colors. I wonder what she&#8217;d say if she found out I have pig socks, monkey socks, cow socks, powerpuff girl socks, frog socks with green toes, ladybug socks, socks with insects on them, striped socks, christmas socks, easter socks.  Silly Socks! I can&#8217;t get enough of them!<\/p>\n<p>So that was pretty cool. Maybe I have a new penpal now. Maybe we are too similar and we should stay away from each other. It could get confusing. More than one me seems like a whole lot. I hope she doesn&#8217;t mind me sending people to her website.
