I had a cubic yard of dirt delivered and that set all the wheels in motion. I built a bamboo fence in the backyard to keep Mississippi out of part of it so I can have a garden without her digging it up. In the front yard I added a planter box and dug out a strip of sod so we can have an herb and flower garden. <\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/angrypirate\/5561521873\/\" title=\"the converted bookshelf by Alanna Risse, on Flickr\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/farm6.static.flickr.com\/5138\/5561521873_31c8016d1a.jpg\" width=\"500\" height=\"375\" alt=\"the converted bookshelf\" \/><\/a><br \/>\nVeggie box with kale, garlic, spinach, and bok choy<\/p>\n<p>The nanny Molly has been helping a great deal with the fence. Juniper was asleep the day I started on it, so I bent bamboo and she tied it together. She&#8217;s changing her title to reflect her plethora of skills and abilities. New ideas bubbling up and I&#8217;m getting excited.
