So I just bungied my painting to the top of my car. It seemed secure enough. Normally I would tie them down but I didn’t want to scratch the painting (hah) and tieing takes forever. I was about a block away and starting to feel like I should check the bungies. Suddenly one of the bungies sproinged off. My painting flung through the air like it was being shot out of a slingshot. It landed in the middle of the road and I watched in horror as a vehicle quickly approached it. I thought for sure it was a goner. Suddenly, a truck coming the other direction whipped in front of it, blocking it from oncoming traffic. They saved my painting from certain destruction! I am so lucky, it’s not even funny. I should have given them cookies.<\/p>\n
Not only am I lucky that my painting wasn’t destroyed, I am even luckier that I didn’t hurt anyone.
