She&#8217;s going twice a week for 5ish hours a day. Last week I let myself off the hook. I got my hair cut and went to stores I can&#8217;t go to with her. I worked on other deadlines. This week I begin. I can&#8217;t let other deadlines keep me from this incredibly valuable time I have while she&#8217;s in daycare. I&#8217;ve got ventilation, I&#8217;ve got a plan, time to set it in motion.<\/p>\n<p>I got three underpaintings done today. I kept pulling out the fan brush. I could here my old painting teacher writhing in pain every time I put that fan brush to canvas but I can&#8217;t help it. It feels so right. I&#8217;ve got Bob Ross in my soul right now and I think I should stop trying to pretend it&#8217;s just an accident. It&#8217;s ok. I can do whatever I want. So, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=i3RYOawNITs\">happy little trees it is<\/a>. If you can&#8217;t beat &#8217;em, join &#8217;em. Sorry Larry!<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/alannarisse.com\/blog\/back-in-the-studio\/underpaintings091712\/\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-5563\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/alannarisse.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/underpaintings091712.jpg\" alt=\"\" title=\"underpaintings091712\" width=\"640\" height=\"480\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-5563\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Tom&#8217;s getting me some cheap studio lights to help with my projects. I want to try a bunch of different mediums, and I need some studio lighting to get the job done right, I&#8217;ve needed it for a while anyway.<\/p>\n<p>It feels good to be painting. Feels good to have problems to work out. It feels good pushing paint around. I feel like this February date is doable.
