They warned me this was common, and not to panic, but they found something in the mammogram and they needed to take a closer look. I needed to come in for another mammogram, a ct scan and possibly an ultrasound. Let me tell you, I was scared. I tried not to be, I know that getting called back after a first mammogram is nothing to be alarmed at, but it doesn&#8217;t matter, it&#8217;s alarming. I thought I was brave but I just crumbled into a million pieces today and had to have Tom come with me to keep me distracted. It worked, I stayed calm with him near me. The second set of images were all clear. I&#8217;m fine, no lumps or bumps.<\/p>\n<p>I love my husband, I love my baby, I even love my barky dog. I&#8217;m feeling very lucky today.<\/p>\n<p>Anyway, it&#8217;s done, and it caused me just enough stress to feel completely exhausted today. Maybe Juni will let me snooze for a couple minutes on the couch. Probably not but I think I must try.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I had my first mammogram last week.
