I&#8217;m thinking about doing the 365 greens project. I might even start it retroactively from February 1st since I started taking pictures of greens anyway. So yeah, let&#8217;s do this thing. The rules are, I have to have 365 servings of greens between February 1 2013 and January 31 2014. Greens are anything leafy and mostly green in color. A serving can be a big bowl or a side or as an ingredient, like in a soup or stir fry. I&#8217;ll try to post recipes when I can. Ok, go!<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/alannarisse.com\/blog\/365-greens\/greens01\/\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-6086\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-6086\" alt=\"greens01\" src=\"http:\/\/alannarisse.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/greens01.jpg\" width=\"640\" height=\"480\" \/><\/a><br \/>\nkale with cashew cream<br \/>\nI made a big batch of cashew cream a while back when I considered the whole vegan thing (for like a day, well ok, maybe 10 days). It&#8217;s a really good addition to kale.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/alannarisse.com\/blog\/365-greens\/greens02\/\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-6085\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-6085\" alt=\"greens02\" src=\"http:\/\/alannarisse.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/greens02.jpg\" width=\"640\" height=\"480\" \/><\/a><br \/>\nveggie soup with kale<br \/>\nI threw in some roasted tomatoes, romano and green beans, some leftover brown rice, and some corn from last summer.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/alannarisse.com\/blog\/365-greens\/greens03\/\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-6084\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-6084\" alt=\"greens03\" src=\"http:\/\/alannarisse.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/greens03.jpg\" width=\"640\" height=\"480\" \/><\/a><br \/>\nmixed greens with garlic and red pepper, with tahini garlic sauce and sriracha on top.<br \/>\nI got the greens from Cherry Sprout Market. They have large 1 and 2 pound bags of various greens from turnip greens to collards to mustard greens. I got the mix. What do turnip greens taste like?<\/p>\n<p>ok, I missed some photo opportunities but that&#8217;s ok. I&#8217;m five behind.
