It was so<br \/>\ncomfortable. It was like an old friend. At my new studio, I was lacking<br \/>\nsomewhere comfortable to sit. I was really missing that old chair. I<br \/>\nbroke down and bought this chair from salvation army for $20. It makes<br \/>\nall the difference in the world.<\/p>\n<p>Sticking to a painting schedule can be difficult at times. Especially if<br \/>\nyour studio is far from home and you have a million other things you<br \/>\ncould be doing. Having a comfy chair sets the bar low for how much you<br \/>\nare requiring yourself to do for the day. Some days you wake up and<br \/>\nthink, I am so tired. I don&#8217;t feel creative. But if you have a chair<br \/>\nlike this one, all you have to do is tell yourself that you just have to<br \/>\nget to the studio, just sit in the chair and look for ideas in books,<br \/>\nmaybe sketch a little, nothing more. It takes the pressure off<br \/>\nperforming and producing. And once you are in the studio, its much<br \/>\neasier to get going. Is it woody allen (?) that said. 99% of success is<br \/>\njust showing up.
