I would love to stop taking my thyroid meds within the year if I see improvements in my numbers. I&#8217;ve been looking for medical articles about the subject. Couldn&#8217;t find much on the general internet but here is what I&#8217;ve found so far:<\/p>\n<p>This article discusses a study which found that those on a vegan diet had less instances of hypothyroidism than those on an omnivorous diet. <a href=\"http:\/\/www.pcrm.org\/health\/medNews\/vegan-diets-improve-thyroid-function\">http:\/\/www.pcrm.org\/health\/medNews\/vegan-diets-improve-thyroid-function<\/a><\/p>\n<p>This article discusses the reduction of gluten in the diet because inflammation is associated with decreased thyroid function.
