Green\u2019s work has been featured in <a href=\"http:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/2013\/01\/26\/arts\/design\/the-last-supper-by-julie-green-at-arts-center-in-oregon.html?_r=0\" target=\"_blank\"><em>The New York Times<\/em><\/a>, a<a href=\"http:\/\/www.upforgallery.com\/s\/Julie_wholefoods-itgy.png\" target=\"_blank\">Whole Foods mini-documentary<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.pbs.org\/newshour\/art\/painter-immortalizes-last-meals-of-600-prisoners-put-to-death\/\" target=\"_blank\">National Public Radio<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/ceramicartsdaily.org\/ceramics-monthly\/ceramics-monthly-september-2011\/\" target=\"_blank\"><em>Ceramics Monthly<\/em><\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.theartblog.org\/2011\/04\/julie-greens-last-supper-patricia-hills-on-jacob-lawrence-and-suzanne-hudson-on-agnes-martin\/\" target=\"_blank\"><em>Gastronomica<\/em><\/a>, and 7th edition of <em>A World of Art<\/em> published by Prentice Hall. She has exhibited widely in the United States and internationally, and is a 2011 recipient of the Joan Mitchell Foundation Painters and Sculptors Grant and recent winner of the ArtPrize 3-D Juried Award. Half of each year, usually in winter months, she works on <em>The Last Supper<\/em>, an ongoing project about the death penalty in the United States.
