I spent the day in the SF Public Library sifting through all the books on wedding ceremonies and rituals. The materials available out there are sadly lacking in depth and content. I brought home eight books with hopes that we can gleam what we need from them. When did the wedding world become so schlocky and cheeseball? Why can’t I find poems written about marriage from poets than haven’t been dead for 50 million years?
