Question for you all. If you won the lottery, where would you want to live? Would you want to stay in the same city as you live now? Or would you move somewhere else? What would your post lottery life look like?
I would move to somewhere more rural and have a life like Beth and Bill but with a different day job. I would have a vegetable garden and a fruit orchard. I would have dogs, cats, chickens, pigs, and sheep. I would write and make art. I would make babies. I would finish my MFA. I would try to start some sort of community of like-minded individuals with similar goals and ideas about the planet. I would like to teach workshops and lecture. I would push Tom to make music, which probably wouldn’t be very hard since right now he’s got three different music projects happening while holding down a day job.
So the bigger question is, how do we incorporate some of that lottery life into my pre lottery reality?
