It’s my first morning here in Cambridge. I managed to stay up all day yesterday despite not even closing my eyes all through the plane trip. I had a horrible plane experience. my neighbor was a 6’6″ giant wizard with legs bigger than there was space for and his wife was so off the menu, I wanted to strangle her. But anyway, such is life. After a long bus ride, I arrived safe and sound in Azure and Jason’s adorable house. They have a conservatory. It’s a big glass area that is not inside and not outside. Very Dwell magazine., and a pretty fantastic place to enjoy a salad and fritata dinner. I have my very own room with my very own, insanely comfortable bed. We went out for a couple of pints so I got to see a little bit of Cambridge before collapsing for the night.

I can’t wait to go exploring today. I brought over some pinto beans, Casa Sanchez chips and large burrito sized tortillas. We are doing full on mission style burritos tonight for dinner so we need to do a little shopping. I need to stock up on Solpadeine and I might buy some watercolor paper or maybe a couple tubes of paint. I can tell I’m going to be an early bird for a while. The sun barely goes down at all and at 4:30, I was bright eyed and bushy tailed with the sun and the millions of birds in the backyard. I made myself stay in bed til 6 but now I am a force to recon with. I’m cooking beans, drinking tea, and getting ready to do a morning sketch in the backyard. I wonder how long I’ll last today. Might have to Overdose on the caffeine today. I need to go to T-Mobile and find out why my roaming doesn’t seem to work, so no pictures right now, sorry!

Little Azure is the cutest pregnant woman. She is exactly the same old Azure but with a large beach ball shoved up her shirt. I know it’s really real though because I saw it. I was really doubting that there was actually a baby inside there. Her belly looks like a mini seedless watermelon. bye!
