Apple #14
Yvonne mentioned that it isn’t apple season right now, which would definitely explain apple #14, a Cameo. It was not sweet at all, and a little tart, but without much flavor. I give it one thumb down. But what made it sweeter was the fantastic day I had with my friends Lisa and Stacy. We had a full on girl’s day out; from getting massages at the mall, to talking dirty, to wandering around aimlessly in department stores. We had such a great time. I miss those guys. Next time I eat a Cameo, I’m going to think about how great Lisa and Stacie are.
Apple #13 was a Fuji eaten after watching Ben Hur on KQED. I used my apple corer for the first time. It amazing how different apples taste if you core and slice them. I really do need to get into more culinary experiments with apples. I’ve just been too busy having fun.
