The last couple days seems to have turned into animal rescue week. A
baby bird had fallen out of it’s nest. We put him back in. Then later
last night two birds were out. I kept them in my bathroom overnight and
we put them back in. I finally noticed that the first one that had
fallen out wasn’t the same kind of bird and definitely not the same age.
His beak is too big and his legs are ridiculously long. Maybe he’s a
cookoo? So I feel bad. I shouldn’t have tried to help. Now I hope they
kick him out again. It seems like the second bird is doing fine. He’s
pretty old and he ran right back into the nest.
I have an allergic reaction to some plants around berges rock from my
hike the other day. I have large, painful blisters on my hands and
knees. I just slept most of the day yesterday but today I have more
energy and it’s just making me cranky. I’m supposed to stay out of the
sun for three days. I just want to sit in the pool. I thought I would
try and do watercolors but I don’t even feel like doing that. Grumpy me.
I have big blisters where I would hold my brush so I don’t feel like
bothering.
