Here lies Henry, a sweet little baby bird that wasn’t given a fair
chance in this life. He had three spills from his nest and a couple of
scarey days in a cardboard box, and then a last night in a little nest
we fixed up for him in an old nest from last year. The stress was too
much for such a little baby bird. He left this earth early on this sunny
morning.
He was a fighter. He ate all the dead pool bugs we could find from the
end of a butter knife. He had a loud peep for such a little bird. Henry,
we know you tried your best to pull through. We love you and will miss
you. He now rests peacefully under a cherry tree at Berges.
