10 mile run/walk and ready to road bike

I finished my 10 mile run/walk with no casualties. The legs are doing just fine. The part of my foot that was broken is a little sore but is doing just fine. I went around Lake Merced and did about 5 miles an hour give or take.

After I got back, we went to a great little American Diner/Korean BBQ joint in the inner sunset that I never knew about. I think its been there for years and I never knew it, even when I lived over there. You can either get an American breakfast or Korean BBQ. I was tempted by the bi bim bop but my legs were craving french toast, scrambled eggs and sausage. If you are ever at 9th and Irving, you should really check this place out,. Its next to a shoe place, City shoes(?) and is just one long counter.

Also today we got a quick adjust thing for the seat on Tom’s road bike so I can ride it too. I also picked up a great pair of shoes with the bike clip thingy for $48. We looked at Hybrids, Golden Gate Cycle had a great K2 for a good price. I got all weepy about giving up my old Bridgestone mountain bike and I don’t know if I can handle getting rid of it. Maybe I should just get over myself. Yeah, it’s a really heavy bike but it’s a good bike and has been a good companion over the years. And hell, if I ride my Huffy more, the weight of the Birdgestone will feel like nothing compared to the cruiser. Why do I have two bikes anyway? I’m crazy. I’m such a consumer. The cruiser isn’t very practical for SF but I love it and can’t part with it. It’s so fun to ride, just not uphill.
