Juni’s new quilt

I’ve been frustrated that Juniper’s hexigon quilt is going to take me so long to finish. So I needed to whip up another one real quick-like so I’d feel like I could accomplish something. I made her a quilt that measures something like 48×60. So she’ll be able to use it in a big girl bed until she’s too tall for it. It’s three layers of flannel, so it’s great for summer but the extra layer means it’s got a little bit of weight to it, making it super duper comfortable. I made it out of old baby blankets, old hand-sewn diapers, and bits of fabric from here and there. It’s so soft and wonderful. She loves it. I decided to make a mini quilt too. I figured she needed one for her babies, plus we’re going on a trip soon and it’ll be nice to take a blanket that’s familiar to her. So here they are:
