It’s been a couple days. I’ve been busy having fun before the next semester starts. Friday we started a new tradition of having happy hour in cool old San Francisco Hotel bars. We were to the Tonga room which has got to be one of my favorite bars. Saturday we went shopping downtown. We hit the Puma store, apple store, and macy’s then walked through chinatown, got some tea at Ten Ren and had lunch at Empress of China thanks to Todd Lappin’s enticing photos. Saturday night we went out to the mission for dinner at Rosai and too many drinks at the Pheonix. Sunday I was just hung over enough to decide to be lazy. Then went for a nice walk at ocean beach with Ger and Rodeo. I was a professional grade slacker for the rest of the evening. This week is a bit nuts.
Today was doctor day. Eye doc in the morning and back doc in the afternoon. Tomorrow is car fixing days and finish up painting day. I have one more painting to finish for next week’s show. Wednesday I’ll be at the City College campus for 11 hours. Yikes. I have lots of arty stuff to do this week. I need to get my portfolio to the ArtWorkSF folks befoer they forget about me and I need to get my mailing lists together before the 20th. I also told Glen I’d have a rough website for the france trip ready by the end of the week. Crazy me.
Tonight is Liz’s bday, we are having dinner at Burma Superstawr (yum). We got her a screenprinting kit. I hope she likes it.
