Successful Artist Reception

I am back from the reception at the Studio Gallery for my group show: Hot Wax. The turn out was great despite the icky, cold rain. Heather came, which was very special since we haven’t been speaking much, I think we’ve been on a friendship hiatus, maybe it’s time to start again. Earl and Susan came by with the munchkins, LeeAnn and Dean, Brian Bonner, and Jhina all braved the weather. I hope I didn’t miss any of you. I wasn’t able to make it through the whole show. Thank you all for coming or wanting to come. I was showered with complements (like I need more complements) and felt so blessed for my life and friends. We are now huddled in our apartment, ordering pizza in. Tom is playing music and I’m making very small art. It’s a wonderful Saturday. Tina Lauren Vietmeier was there and I just think she’s the coolest chick on the planet. I finally got to meet GailSteinberg from the WCEA and felt guilty for missing all their meetings.
