So you know how I did the 365 apples project a couple years ago? I’m thinking about doing the 365 greens project. I might even start it retroactively from February 1st since I started taking pictures of greens anyway. So yeah, let’s do this thing. The rules are, I have to have 365 servings of greens between February 1 2013 and January 31 2014. Greens are anything leafy and mostly green in color. A serving can be a big bowl or a side or as an ingredient, like in a soup or stir fry. I’ll try to post recipes when I can. Ok, go!
kale with cashew cream
I made a big batch of cashew cream a while back when I considered the whole vegan thing (for like a day, well ok, maybe 10 days). It’s a really good addition to kale.

I threw in some roasted tomatoes, romano and green beans, some leftover brown rice, and some corn from last summer.
mixed greens with garlic and red pepper, with tahini garlic sauce and sriracha on top.
I got the greens from Cherry Sprout Market. They have large 1 and 2 pound bags of various greens from turnip greens to collards to mustard greens. I got the mix. What do turnip greens taste like?
