I spent all day working on my final project for textiles, even with a hangover, I worked until it was time to come home for dinner. After dinner I worked some more. Finally I said: “It’s 9 o’clock, I’ve worked enough today right? I can relax for the rest of the night, right?” So I sat on the couch and promptly started dreaming up a design for my fabric printing pattern that I’m going to incorporate into my comforter cover design that I’m working on over the break. I pulled out graph paper, started to sketch it out, then made multiple photo copies, cut them out, and laid them out together to finalize a pattern piece that will fit nicely together. Now I am kicking myself for leaving my linoleum carving tools at the studio. So um yeah. I can’t stop thinking about textiles. I’ve got it real bad right now. Real bad.
