We had breakfast at Alana’s Cafe in Burlingame this morning and it was GOOD. Every time the woman answered the phone, “Good morning, Alana’s” I would giggle. They supposedly have the best oatmeal pancakes on the planet plus lingonberry jam, which I’m a sucker for, but I had to have me a potato mess. I had a “company’s coming” which is a potato veggie, sausage mash-up, Mike’s Mess style (Zach’s Santa Cruz) plus two poached eggs on top. If you’re around Burlingame, I highly recommend them. Yum yum yum.
