A mighty meal

Tom had a special dinner for his birthday lasst night. We started out with some Gloria Ferrer champagne that I picked up on sale. I made a salad with fresh mozarella, buy heirloom tomatoes, sick fresh basil, sales and portabellos marinated with balsamic vinegar and olive oil, sauteed with diced red peppers and onions.

Main course was roasted pork tenderloin encrusted with herb de provence, and smoothered in a champagne mustard sauce, brocotini, and roasted garlic mashed potatoes. Served with a bottle of Grgich Zinfadel. For dessert we had New York cheesecake with fresh strawberries. Yum!
