We head home today. Yesterday we had a nice day wandering around Princeton. We found the Princeton art museum which had a surprizingly good random smattering of german expresssionism, Rubens and minimalist works by frank stella. Lots of impressionist stuff fro Vuillard, Monet, some Gaunguins and a Van Gogh I’ve never seen before. They had some new things as well that were fantastic. They have a little permission slip you can sign so that you can take pictures. You have to promise to never show them to anyone or the Princeton special police will find you and kill you, but I took some shots of painters I didn’t know, and snapped photos the name plackard so I’d remember. A good time was had by all. I left Tom’s Woobeanie (hat) there, and we might have to try to retrieve it today.
Last night we went to the Yankee Doodle Tap Room for a couple of pints and to take a gander at the Norman Rockwell painting behind the bar. Then home with 50 hot wings from Chucks. They were the best wings I’ve ever had, hands down. And not a single wing was standing by the time we threw in the towel.
I have had a great time but I’m looking forward to coming home. I am going to eat nothing but jook and vegetables. I’ve sampled all of the required food items for a proper visit and now my stomach wants a nap. Well… maybe after a cheesesteak on the way out of town.
