Don’t think, just paint

What would I do without Tom. I decided I had a creative blockage yesterday. I decided I had not a single creative bone in my body. I know that thinking about painting is about the worst thing you can do. As Larry would say, don’t think, just paint. Well, I couldn’t, and I was really get down on myself. Tom pointed out, we’ve only been back three days, I spent 4 hours yesterday moving stuff yesterday, and we’re both still suffering from jetlag. So yeah, gotta just take it easy on myself.

Today, I’m printing pictures of bugs. I’m going to get a large canvas at Pearl, gonna stop by CCA and figure out what’s up with my financial aid package, then I’m gonna put paint to canvas. No expectations, no pressures. Just paint.

Thanks Tom, my muse, my manager, my sounding board and my shrink. Um, and you’re really hot too.

And also, thanks Evan Dando. You are fixing me up one song at a time this morning. So many years of these same songs and they get better every time I listen.

Half past 9, quarter to 10, 10:15 and we’re coming around again.
