I made a decision last week when I felt so awful that I should stop drinking coffee regularly and start drinking tea. Then a co-worker at Singlebound scolded me for drinking tea from tea bags. And at first I felt like a rebellions teenager and wanted to tell him to eff-off, but then I thought, yeah, if I’m gonna drink tea, I might as well drink stuff that tastes good. So today I went to Lupicia in the new Westfield mall and got myself a couple different types of green teas. I got fruit flavored ones too, and I don’t feel bad about it one bit. They taste good, really good. I got a grapefruit flavored one that is very delicious and one that has honey and pear flavors. I cleaned my Nissan Thermos with the tea strainer yesterday to get the coffee flavor out of it and today it is once again my tea mug. The tea strainer is so handy. I can make a cup of tea from anywhere, including my new senior studio at school, so I have no excuse. It’s all loose leaf for me now. Thanks Vernon.
Oh yeah, I also decided last week, while waiting for the bus, to start using the word “effing” in lots of my writing, until it gets added to the dictionary. Effing ell!
