floating

Now that my show is up, I don’t know what to do with myself. I have a ton of homework to do but I feel so distracted I can’t get started on it. The sun is shining and various people have been popping by to see the show, just enough distraction to justify my not getting anything else done. Yesterday I reached exhaustion and took a long nap. Today I am giddy and I just want to frolic. This weekend I have a beekeeping class and my de-installation so I probably won’t get much done then either. Those woodcuts aren’t going to finish themselves and my children’s book is so behind. I still feel like it’ll all get done.Today in the nave at school they had a wrestling match; art vs. craft. It was awesome. There’s nothing better than seeing two grad students roll around on a map throwing punches at each other. OK, I really need to get something done.Oh! I saw the Feral show at The Luggage Store gallery. I have images and lots to say about it. I’ll try to post something tomorrow night.
