I know I’m really good at whining about my life. I’m sure most of you have figured that out by now. But I am also constantly hyper aware at how damned lucky I am in so many ways. I am healthy, I have the most wonderful boyfriend in all the land, I am smart, I have a strong work ethic, I have great friends and a nice place to live, I am pretty lucky in opportunity and I know when not to pass things up. And on days like today (despite the annoying weather), it’s even easier to gloat about my life, because kids, today is the beginning of spring break! Woo hoo! Girls gone wild! Partaaayyy!
But don’t worry, If you’ve grown accustomed to my whines, there will surely be much for me to find to whine about. Although it is spring break, I have a backlog of things to do. Still, a different schedule for one week is so very, very welcomed in my life. And spring break also marks a great milestone in this semester. Once we return, we will only have 4 more weeks of school! I am so close I can taste it. It looks like I’ll end up with 4 As and 1 B, unless I’m a bad girl and don’t get my women’s history extra credit done, then it’ll be 3 As and 2 B. Still, nothing to shake a stick at.
I had a weird dream the other night that I was really nervous about taking this exam and I didn’t mean to but I kept cheating. It was terrible. I thought, I’m going to get thrown out of school all over this one test, and I don’t even mean to do it. Clearly I’m having end of the semester anxiety attacks. How great is that!?!? That must mean it’s nearing the end of the semester! Praise be! I just learned that there is no synonym for hallelujah! That’s how special it is! and I’m using it in vain! and I can’t stop using exclamation points!
Oh, speaking of exclamation points, my friend Lynn’s book is on it’s way to me right now. I might even get it today! Hallelujah! If you use Dreamweaver and want to turn yourself into the smartest Dreamweaver genius in the universe, you should go buy her book, The Unofficial Guide to Dreamweaver 8. Once I have some time, I’m going to write up a (completely unbiased) review for you, my reader.
