I’ve had this machine a long time, since just after my dad died in
1992. It’s seen me through some tough times and its helped me make some
pretty great stuff. With this machine I’ve made:
About 10 quilts
2 halloween costumes
A half dozen skirts
Countless little pouches for cameras, glasses, etc
50 or so fleece hats
Baby bplankets for several people
A divider wall for flickerbox
A giant demin bag for carrying easel and cavas to france
My wedding dress
20 beach bags for the wedding
Curtains for my old truck
And I’m sure many more projects I can’t think of at the moment.
I love this machine, but I am constantly re threading it. The bobbin
gets tangled all the time. The thing is making me crazy. Yet it seems
the moment I make the decision “ok, that’s it, I’m getting a new
machine.” It starts to behave again. What am I going to do? I guess I’ll
have to keep sewing on it til it sputters its last dieing breath. It was
there for me when imy bobbin was constantly getting tangled. Its the
least I can do.
