It’s so new! Shiny and new! And it works like a dream. No more hot kitchen, no more fighting with the broiler door. And clean! So clean! I can cook and then WIPE! and it’s clean! just like that! It’s been so long that we’ve needed a new stove. Now we have a new fridge and a new stove. Too bad there’s no magical way to makke the floor new too. I suppose I should just think of it as a vintage look.
Sadly, I can’t go cooking crazy on it, although that’s all I want in the whole wide world. But no, I have lots of projects to finish. Papers for tomorrow, drawings for thursday and a big giant one due next tuesday. Yikes.
Tom went to the Doc today. We saw his arm under the florascope. It has more metal than we expected but it’s straight. There’s still some question on how well the ulna is doing. It was never really put back in the right place and is still a little off. But he’s looking pretty good. He got a new, black punk rock cast which I will decorate. About four more weeks of casts, then on to physical therapy. weee.
p.s. It’s national croissant day.
