Dear mother of all the nature stuff,
please give us northern californians a little break from this rain. Don’t get me wrong, I think rain is great, I don’t mind it all that much, it’s just, well, I could really use a day or two of sunshine. I feel physically depressed and soggy. I need to feel like a floaty butterfly. Please give me some sunshine. OK? In return I will promise to make a better effort at utilizing my resources and not consuming so much stuff. I got rid of a creadit card this week and I plan on buying less junk. The junk I don’t want any more will be sold or donated to others so that it won’t end up on a junk pile, atleast for a little while longer. So please, just a little sunshine would be so nice.
I’m sorry us humans are such viruses on your wonderful planet. I know you have some awfully terrible plans in store for us in the pretty near future. That’s fine, the planet is better without us. Just this week, a little sunshine, ok? I’m sorry you have to consider another ice age. I bet you hate it as much as we do.
