We finished hanging the show today at the abbey in caunes-minervois. I
think it looks good this year, full and fruitful. More pictures tomorrow
maybe. After the opening we are going to hotel d’alibert for a big,
group dinner.

I’ve gone back to painting bugs now that the show is hung. But now I’m
painting them in a similar style to the maps.

We went into carcassone today for money, cheese, and honey. I got a
violet ice cream cone that was out of this world. We spent too long in
la ferme and got all sorts of jams and spices and oils and mustards. Its
hard to avoid obsessing over food here. It is so simple and delicious.
For lunch today we had foccacia with tomato and goat cheese. Yum. Our
fridge is full of salamis and cheeses. All is right with the world.
