I have today to finish two papers. Once I’m done, it’s all about studying for final exams. I’m getting close yet it’s so hard to focus. My papers weave and ramble through confusing paragraphs that lack conclusion or focus. I might need some vodka to get through this day. Or maybe too dangerous? OK, focus woman! Yeah see, the vodka idea was just a thinly vailed excuse to take a walk to albertson’s. No walking! Only writing!
One of my papers is on Alice Neel. If you aren’t familiar with her work, she is quite amazing as a portraitist. Go take a gander at her online gallery. If my paper didn’t suck, I would share it with you. Maybe I can clean it up a bit or just share tidbits. I don’t know. All I know is I want this semester to be done with and vodka tastes good. Yeah, I broke down and got a bottle.
